Njoud Al-Kubaisi is a remarkable communicator and one of the GCC's youngest sign language interpreters.
We were fortunate enough to work with this amazing 13-year-old on Qatar Financial Centre's TVC for Ramadan aimed at raising awareness about the challenges faced by the hearing-impaired and encouraging companies to integrate them within their workforce.
Filmed entirely in Souq Waqif, we used the phantom camera to create super slow motion visuals that took us into a heightened reality; A world in which Njoud absorbs the wonderful, sense-stimulating sounds, colours and scents of the souq, and relays them to her hearing-impaired father.
