Born and raised in Los Angeles, I was given my first camera at the age of seven. Since then, I’ve never been away from one. Self-taught, I roamed the streets of Compton, California capturing people’s lives and observing what happens when people interact. Being the fly on the wall, I’ve been lucky enough to capture moments for local newspapers and portraits for personal stories. Although the digital format has made my work a bit easier and faster, to this day I have a burning passion for film and am never too far away from a dark room.
